Car: 1996 240sx w/ KA24DE 5 speed

So I took the car to the track 2 weeks ago and it did fine. Brought it back and a week later it sat over the 4 day. I went to drive it and noticed 2 things:

1.) E-brake was stuck on(fixed that)

2.) Car seemed to accelerate slowly. I thought at the time that it was because the ebrake / caliper was stuck. Now that that's all been taken care of though, I know it's not the problem.

So here's a description of what happens:
When I shift into a gear and press the gas it'll rev really quickly, like it's halfway in neutral. After a couple seconds it seems to catch though and the car will pick up. The revs will drop by about 500-1k when this happens, and then a few seconds later they'll pick back up again like normal.

This happens in every gear (well, haven't checked reverse yet).

I haven't changed the transmission oil out since I bought the car in July, so I think that could be the problem. Any other ideas?

Sounds like you need a clutch.

Could that be it? It shifts fine so I didn't think it was bad.

Sounds like it's slipping after your track day.
You'll still be able to pick gears fine, but your clutch doesn't have the friction material left to transfer the power from your engine to transmission.

Ok, thanks. I don't need it to last too much longer so that's better than the engine having issues I guess.

mine went out at the track once, never gave me any symptons before the track, actually my flywheel went out(it was stock),but yes, sounds like a clutch/flywheel issue

Yup, clutch just went out on the drive home :( Had to get towed back. Car just slowed down gradually like it was in neutral and it wouldn't move again.
