My girls house was shaking like a madman, thought it was a helicopter right above us. Lasted for a good 20 seconds. Autoart boxes at my house prolly fell over lol. No major damage thus far. Scary though.

I live in Gaithersburg and I work in Tysons Corner, VA.

Office building was shaking quite a bit, but only very briefly. I actually slept through the last one, so I was glad I was awake for this one, lol.


Very strange though, Colorado also had a very unusual earthquake this morning, I think a 5.3

The epicenter was around Charlottesville VA.

We felt it pretty good here in the Hampton Roads area of VA. I was on the top level of my building and the building was just swaying back and forth. Its the first one i've been through and it was pretty wild.

Felt it here in Alexandria, VA (close to the Pentagon). Was on the 12th floor and looking at another building shaking too, it was crazy, but I kept my cool and bolted for the stairs after it stopped lol No damage to the structure of the building or utility lines. However cell service is getting SLAMMED.

Thought it was a helicopter flying low. Im only 10 miles from DC and man that was the first earthquake I've ever experienced.

We arent too far from the epicenter either. My dealership has a glass showroom and that thing shook like it had some subs in it haha.

seeing as probably 90% or more of the east coast has never felt an earthquake, to some yes it is. i just thought it got windy as shit but i looked outside and the trees werent moving. earthquake didnt even enter my mind.

Yeah seriously, right in ac nj, everyone I know freaking out. The kid stocking the cooler where I work said he put a few drinks up and the shelf started shaking then everything started shaking hahah. I didn't even notice it but apparently alot of people were freaked out. We didn't get anything more than a few seconds of swaying/shaking but I guess we never see it so people panic.

It's funny before the earthquake on Tuesday I went into a Japanese restaurant for lunch, sat down and ordered the volcano roll. The moment the waitress puts it on my table there's an earthquake.

Waitress and chef looked really scared.
