quick alternator question, sr20det

just installed a new alt and found out its not getting voltage to the hot terminal on the alt. Does nissan use a fusible link in the harness? Checked the main fuse in the pannel and its good, I am assuming that is for the ignition circut. I know i probably could have done a search but im up to my elbows in this thing right now and really dont want to start cutting into the harness if i dont have to. Any help would be much apprieciated.

No fusible link, I think it is the ignition circuit fuse. Something like a 75amp in the fuse box in the engine bay.

thanks for the reply. I AM A COMPLETE DUMBA**. Went back out in the garage, poked around a little and found a unused plug with a big white wire and what do you know it's the hot for the Alt. Thought i did my homework! Next im going to run some 8ga from the batt. to the alt and call it a day, I hope.
