Haven't seen one of these posted. If I overlooked it, point me in the right direction!

I have a lot of free time at work. I enjoy reading during that free time and was curious as to what some of you guys are reading or have read before that you might like to share.

I'm currently reading Kurt Vonnegut's 'Slaughterhouse-Five' and enjoying it so far. Probably be done in a few days so I need some new material for the upcoming days.

Share. Comment. Etc

I am reading a lot of Stephen King's older novels. "It" by far is my favorite, with "Salem's Lot" coming in at a close second.

Im usually reading a couple different books at the same time, & I don't always get around to finishing everything.

Reading 'The Denial of Death' (ernest becker) on & off.
it is terribly depressing but also a fascinating read.

I'm always reading psychology themed books for my grad studies.
past few that I enjoyed, all of them are easy to read even if you're not that academic.
'Love's Executioner' great existential themed therapy book that's easy to get into even from a layman's perspective
'The boy who was raised as a dog' looks at the effects of trauma in child development
'prisoner of hate' looks at how we're wired to behave aggressively from a cognitive behavioral perspective.

just done reading the sci-fi 'Hyperion' (Dan Simmons) series. was an entertaining read.

for trashy fiction I'm always reading something from the Warhammer 40k series.

I'm currently reading Kurt Vonnegut's 'Slaughterhouse-Five' and enjoying it so far.

when i was 19, me and my lady at the time were driving up from Mizzou in her Neon. i was driving because i was the man. she loved Vonnegut, and she wanted me to enjoy it too, so she read aloud about 30 pages of Slaughterhouse-Five, and i probably would have enjoyed it but i was too busy thinking about banging her on my old futon that weekend, and then i tried to listen and get into it but i'd missed a lot of setup, so i thought she'd stop reading if i reached over and tried to finger her, but she totally kept reading, so i had to make her orgasm from fingering while driving a car through some hills, and then she came and stopped for a while, then she goddamn restarted and read me the first couple chapters while i paid attention. she loaned me the book and i never read it. never even gave it back.
i think i still have it on the shelf. yeah, there it is. good times. cool story bro. sorry.

Mein Kampf sucks and is quite poorly written. Hitler and the SS only gave the otherwise awesome Nazi Germany a bad reputation.
