ok so ive searched and read thread after thread and cant figure this out.
i have a s14 black top in my s13. i start the car and it idles nice sounds good. set the timing at 15 degrees and i can sit there and rev it up and everything is good. but when i go to drive it i cant get past 3k rpms and its only making like 1-2 lbs of boost. its like it hits a wall and wont rev past 3k and theres no power there. ive checked for vac and boost leaks and havent found anything.
any thoughts on what it could be what i could check for? this is my first sr20 ive been a big honda guy until recently.

Hey man. Your fuel pressure regulator could be going out, fuel pump going out, tps sensor going out or out of position, iacv valve, maf, fuel lines, etc...and check all engine grounds. All of them!

i sprayed soapy water on all the couplers everywhere and nothing.the PO might not of done the timing right its at 15* but my cas is maxed out to one side and if i move it one tooth then it wont start at all. its at 15* now and sounds and idles like it should just no power.

boost leak tester is better to see if there is a problem, spraying couplers only finds vacuum leaks, but u said at it peaks at 1-2 psi which sounds to me like boost is escaping..

check all the fittings on the freddy manifold, Make sure there are no vacuum/boost leaks, I've heard about issues with certain ones not seating properly on the head or the casting just plain let air permeate through
