I do have a similar thread, but I feel that this will narrow down the issue a bit.
I checked voltages on the white wire of the MAF, 1.7 at idle, 2.6-2.8 at 4000RPM. I had a friend pull a second MAF for me, but it read 2.6-2.8v again. Went out and bought a brand new MAF, 2.6-2.8v at 4000 RPM.
So that's three MAFs throwing the same voltage from the output when being backprobed. This is for an OBDII S14 KA.
