View Full Version : turbo inlet nuts loose

can i retighten them with the turbo on the car. or do i have to pull the manifold off?

i can get to them all, but i dont know if i can tighten the back two. im not going to even try if it cant be done. i really dont wanna pull the mani because the car is my dd and i dont have the parts ready. soooo. can i re tighten the bolts while on the car?

ive tried searching but turned up nothing.. can someone help me out.

It's easier to just take the turbo manifold out it's slightly longer but less frustration. Invest on those locking tabs help keeps them in place.

i have those. but the last installer just used them for decor and didnt bend them down.
my only concern is i dont have a way to jack up the car or anything. i think i saw somewhere i need to get under the car for the oil/coolant lines.

I guess short wrench and some patience will do it. GL!
