What brand do you guys use in your SR's. I'm wondering which has the beat bang for your buck. I know Royal Purple eats Syncro's, I was using Redline mt90, but I've been hearing amsoil is the best.

Choices I'm looking at are

AMSOIL 75-90
Redline MT90
Mutol 75-90.

And go! Any experience is with this will be greatly appreciated.

Same... Depends on much your willing to spend and the kind of driving it will be used. Below is how I would rate highest being Motul but depending on the abuse it will be going the higher the better.

MOTUL
AMSOil
REDLine

I love amsoil, but I can't get it locally.

Has anyone tried GM Syncromesh?

It's a daily stock turbo SR, with all the bolt ons you can get. I'm asking because when I was a idiot I used RP thinkin it was good. Four out the hard way lol.

Just making sure if I buy amsoil or mutol or Redline or anything else that it is the right fluid and won't eat syncro's or anything like that.

If its just daily driven and some track REDLine MT90 will do the trick.

After reading 4 pages into that thread it seems Amsoil is the best for the SR guys. There ALL swearing by it saying it's butter smooth.

Ive used Amsoil and Redline MT-90, and honestly I feel like it liked the MT-90 better.

Thats what I've run ever since, and will be putting in my trans here in a few weeks.

I just need to find a nice cheap online retailer for it now...

I just switched to AMSOIL from Redline. Only got to drive my car for about 15 minutes or so before I dropped the subframe but from what I could tell it shifted a lot better at a cold start versus the Redline. Both are good either way.
