I've got a GT2871R with the .86 A/R I'm getting ready to install, but I need to know more about running oil lines to and from the turbo and where to get the lines and restrictor and all of that.
Yes I've been searching come across several good install links for the turbo itself, but I can't find anything specific as far as running SS lines or what I'm exactly looking for.

A 3an oil feed line to the turbo is fine with no restrictor as long as its a journal bearing turbo. That how mine is and its fine

2871R is ball bearing though, at least mine is. Needs a restrictor. Can't remember who I got it from though, either Enjuku or FRsport. Made all my own braided lines so I could route them where I wanted them, plus I'm running an oil cooler and filter relocation. Kits are DEFINITELY cheaper though lol.

If its an SR20DET, you can just use the factory line locations.

my oil lines are -4 and coolant lines are -6, the oil lines arent made yet and for the drain im probably just gonna get a piece of -10 braided line and use hose clamps to attach it.
i got mostly everything from summit racing but you can get everything there (got some fittings from local shop) the top adapter on the block is the coolant(m14x1.5 to -6, then i put a 90* -6 fitting on there) the bottom one is oil (12x1.25 to -4, the a 90* -4 fitting)
i put the fittings at the back of the block, coolant line, just to make taking the turbo out easier. kinda how the factory hardline to that rubber hose was, but it was always a bitch to get back in. this way you can just unscrew one of the fittings and your good. now i dont know the thread on the chra of your turbo but you just need to get an adapter to go from those to -6 for your coolant and from the threads of your restrictor to -4. i used 90* elbows on all fittings on the turbo except oil drain
anything else just ask

Just make sure you reclock the turbo before you install it. It wont exactly just bolt up on its own usually. Almost everything 2871 or 3071/78s I've seen had to be reclocked to work for our setup.

Yeah I sort of noticed that when I was looking at lining it up
