Hi guys, I need a little help choosing the ignition for my project S13.
I want to upgrade the ignition system and I don’t know which route to follow.
I know that many of you have fitted an MSD 6A ignition and BLASTER SS coil with good results, but since I have switched to an HALTECH E8 ecu with 4 ignition outputs I really want to go for a direct coil ignition system. This will also allow me to remove the distributor cap.
I think I have 3 different options follow:

1) Fit 4 HALTECH ignition amplifiers and 4 MSD BLASTER SS coil.
2) Fit 4 HALTECH coils with built in amplifiers ( GM coils)
3) Fit an AEM CDI ignition and 4 MSD BLASTER coils.

In alternative I could also use the MSD ***-4 ignition but it will be harder to wire and more expensive too ,so I decided to discard this option unless someone can make me change my mind.

Option 1 and 2 are very similar, but I prefer the first option.

On the paper CDI ignition seems to be much better, with higher current to the coil and better spark, not to mention the multi spark below 3000rpm.
But in the real world, will it make any difference?
HALTECH tech support suggested me to go for the second option, as it will be a really powerful (http://www.sr20forum.com/#) combination.
Anyone has tried something similar and could suggest the best route?
Cost wise it will be pretty much the same at around 400$ for the full set-up excluding custom (http://www.sr20forum.com/#) made ignition leads.

I want to have a strong ignition system so I dont have any issues, in the ignition dep...

Im really open to suggestions.
