I've had my sr now for about 3 weeks and every now and then I will have issues with it bogging while boost hits at lower rpms (1500-3000). The turbo is spooling fine but the car just wont get up and go until it reaches around 3500rpm then it begins to pull fine. The weird thing is that this only occurs every other day or so and if I turn my car off, wait 5 seconds, then turn it back on, it runs perfectly.
I'm running,
T28 BB
megan mani
fmic
full 3in exhaust
intake
apexi safc
8lbs boost
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Trash the SAFC and get a real ROM tune for beginners...
Check for exhaust and boost/vac leaks as well. I had a bad wastegate actuator that made my car "hesitate" build boost late. Pull a vacuum on it, if it holds it's good, if not find a replacement.

Thanks for the help. I haven't messed with the safc any so I don't think thats it. If it were a boost leak or vacuum leak would't I have this issue all the time? It only does it now and then like every other day and if I turn the car off then back on it goes away for a while usually.

i had the exact same problem and i was running a pretty identical setup. I lost a bolt from the exhaust manifold which is also megan racing and that cause a very small exhaust leak and that was also why my car acted up sometimes. so just check that as well.

Why run an SAFC with stock boost anyways?
My stocker bogged at first before recirculating...then again when the CAS was bad.

I run 10 psi now and then. And the safc was on the car when I got it. I kind of know how to use it but I've never messed with it.

This could be a lot of things. Bad a/f ratio (rich or lean), bad o2 sensor, exhaust leak before the o2 sensor, boost and or vacuum leak and possibly a malfunctioning maf.
