so the headgasket questions..... on a built setup...

i am in need of some assistance in what head gasket to use, first off is hks a worthy head gasket or should i stay with the proven apexi?

second i have an s13 redtop, with darton sleeves, bored to 87mm with a BC stroker kit, using JE pistons which puts me at an 2.2L. (18lbs of boost right now, but plan to up that to mid-upper 20's)

ive heard many different opinions on sizes to use (87mm/87.5/88) as well as different thicknesses. i know how the thickness can affect your compression ratio, but i dont know how it effects it with this set-up. i was thinkin about running a 1.5 thickness to compensate for decking the block and head..... but i want all your opinons, to do it right the first time...

Apexi or Cosworth, stay away from Cometic. This has been covered 6 million times though.

1.5 will be fine especially considering the head and block were decked. I'd look into cam gears to get "true" TDC setup. If you have an 87mm bore, you need an 88mm HG....
