Searched here, google, several other S chassis sites and can't find where anyone is using romraider as a management system for any 240sx regardless of the engine they are using.

I know its primarily a Subaru program but I have been told that it can be used on other makes also.

Any info you have on why it can't be used or if you actually know of someone using it would be amazing.

Thanks for your time. -Jordan

Coming from the suby community, i'd like to know too. But since the s13 is obd I I don't see it happening. Don't know if the s14 is obd II. If there is a cable that can be used to directly connect and flash the ecu I don't see why not.

No you need to add a daughter board installed in the ecu in order to flash it. Nistune or Nismotronic. I don't think the Nismotrionic real time daughter board is out yet but Nistunes is.

Nistune and Bikirom are the only two available RT (real time) daughterboards that I know that are currently available.

However, check out Nismotronic they are dropping a RT ecu very soon so check them out.

There are other places you can get basic daughterboards that will allow you to burn bins and copy them to eeproms to be stored on reflashable chips.

*PLMS Developments
*Moates.org

Both sell basic boards...

are there any pros/cons to using these vs. other units like megasquirt?

I would say they are just as stable as any other daughterboards out their for other car manufacturers.

I like my daughterboard setup, once you learn how to make adjustments and changes to it, they become really worth their weight in gold..

ok, so where would i go to get some examples of what they can do a learn how to use them. I'm very familiar with doing my own tuning with romraider, would it be similar in simplicity?
