Got a garret gt2560 brand new for a bangin deal from a friend of mine and was wonderin what kind of power i can make with this turbo. Not lookin to make crazy power because this car is my DD at the moment. Almsot everything is stock besides the Greddy intake manifold, recirculated Greddy BOV(not that it even matters) and a Greddy front mont otherwise motor is running stock injectors, stock fuel rail, stock fpr and stock ecu with a safc. Im looking to run 14psi on this turbo. Give me your input on this..

I'm gonna help you, but i'm also gonna tell you why!
The turbo gt2560r aka s15 turbo or gt28r is an upgrade turbo for the s13 sr20det. Arguably the best turbo, bang for buck. Considering, everyone running this turbo I know at 14pounds of boost is making 280-290hp. So you would be maxing out injectors and maf sensor. That is enough in itself to blow your engine. The safc is ok imo for the power levels of the gt2560r, but you should have supporting mods for 300hp at a minimum.

The recommendation: Upgrade injectors and mafs, and maybe even a fuel pump.
Get it rom tuned and throw away the safc.

Fuel pump has been upgraded when i did the swap. Only thing i need is injectors and maf. I was thinking abot upgrading to a size bigger for the injectors and getting a z maf before i slap on the turbo to get full potential out of it.

Anyone with dyno numbers** Post em up!

I too set out to build a 300hp sr20det daily driver. I just dynoed it at my cousin's shop Last weekend .Here is what Ive done. I built a high compression 11:1 engine. Im keeping that info a secret. My compression @ each cylinder is 220psi. and boosting 12psi. From a brand new GT2560r.
This makes for a very responsive engine with virtually no turbo lag.Power comes on early . Here is the list of mods:
Sr20 Blacktop from rps13
Gt2560r
Tomei rocker stoppers
cams stage 1
480cc injectors (s15)
z32 MAFS
FMIC
synapse BOV (the best) recirculated
nismo FPR
wallbro 255 z32 Ffilter
emance Rom tune
plx wideband (low band signal from module fed back to ECU)
complete Megan Racing exhaust manifold/elbow/down pipe /cat delete/ 3" stealth turbo exhaust
nismo flywheel with stage 2 exxedy clutch
r32 gtr LSD

I will post a picture of Dyno results .
