hello,

on my first alignment with my car, i noticed that the right side (passenger) rim sits further out than the other, it is cleary visible. i have 300zx rear hubs and brakes, everything is assembled correctly, no hits, chassis is straight, and both axle nuts are tight. why does this happen? the alignment was done properly and things where in spec.

i have another thread with coilover ride height and wheel hop. could this affect ride height or cause wheel hop? why is one tire further out than the other?

something is bent or not in place right. Your car could have been in an accident hitting one side and shifting the subframe location to one side.

Or, Your wheels have different offsets which would be weird indeed. There may be countless differences.

Just read your other thread. Your car is not in pristine condition. Something is fucked. check your LCA in the rear and see if it has a crease. Meaning it's bent.

I recently changed my entire subframe thinking it was bent or something. it actually made it a bit better, but still the passenger side is further out. while i had the subframe out, i changed my bushings to SPL solids. now i get wheel hop.:bash:

i was just reading this thread and getting nervous, because my passenger's side is slightly further out than my driver's side, but this makes me feel better

Flybert is correct. Although yours looks a little more exaggerated than normal... maybe its just the angle of the picture.

Condition if coilovers? One may be out. May explain the wheel hop.

bought them used but in good shape, no leaking or anything. they feel the same stiffness on both sides.

Sounds like sub frame to me.
same thing happened to me lol, looked ghetto as shit.
But no one cares cause its an s-chassis and 90% of the time we just expect some sorta ghetto riggin.

nop, not subframe. i recently installed a new one, and i checked it and it wasnt hit or bent.

while i had it out, i put SPL solid bushings.

i guess is not subframe.

did you check to see if there was exterior panel replacement or damage. maybe it was replaced and there was human error.

Same problem, after alignment. My car has solid subframe bushings, suspension arm package (minus RLCA) Everyone says its normal.
3mm spacer part number?
