Hey zilvia, I have finished installing a ka24de into my 90' hatch. And also converting it into 5 speed, everything is in working order. The wiring for the new engine is fine, dohc tahc is in place, but now it wont even crank over. This is because I don't know how to wire the car to start/run reverse lights etc. . I know something about jumping some cables for park and neutral but don't know how to do it. Can anyone tell me what wires to cut/splice, or if some one near RANCHO CUCAMONGA can come help me out with it ill pay you a little something or buy pizza. Please help me guys, I just want to drive my car now that its summer!

All you need is to trick ecu into neutral, park isn't necessary.
On your automatic trans harness, there are four plugs that run to fuse box by battery. You want jumper the bottom 2 wire plug, one black and one brown wire. Car should start if everything else is fine. If you want to know how to do reverse just PM me.
Good luck!

Bump! I jumped the two wire plug and used the auto harness but now my 90 hatch wont even turn on the dash lights. When I had the manual harness connected the lights would turn on but not crank. And keys is stuck, any one else's input on what to do?
