Hi all, I'm new to the 240sx and sr20 world (and zilvia). Brief history I had a '05 srt-4 and '06 300c srt-8 and this '93 s13 coupe I bought with the sr20 is simply the best of both worlds, and cheap! Anyways, I was told this is the best place for a 240 owner over the other similar forums, so decided this is where I'll post. :hsdance:

One problem so far I'm having is some compressor surge even with just the soft spring alone inside the bov, I tightened the adjust screw down (see image 2) just enough to stop it from leaking air at idle, and it still won't open and I just get that surge noise (wushushushush). It's got a dedicated line off the throttle body with no T. Haven't tried running under boost with the adjust screw loose and bov leaking air. But I wouldn't want that anyways.

And probably the most important problem is that the car is leaking power steering fluid. When I drive the car around the block and then park it for the afternoon the right side of the power steering rack will drip fluid and make a damp puddle about 6 inches wide on the ground. And right after I had shut the car off I could hear the power steering reservoir making a fizzing/bubbling noise and sure enough I popped the hood and there was fluid all over the reservoir, the cap is not loose and it is not filled up too much in fact it is low as far as I can tell. Any ideas what needs to be done here?

Another problem (or not) is how all of the vacuum line are hooked up, I've read people saying to T off the FPR line and others saying stricly NOT to. I provided pics to show how it is setup now (t off fpr), is this correct?

Lastly, I found an old auto meter boost gauge from my srt-4 that I thought was broken (was sitting on 10 boost in the box) but I found a tutorial online to recalibrate it so I've got the needle sitting on 0 again and I'm looking to install it now. Based on my current setup where should I place the T off from?

I do have a fmic installed in case that is important to mention. Looking forward to any help I can get here! :)

Ok I've been putting together a diagram for all the different ways I've read that people have setup their vacuum lines, I know there are more ways but this is what I have so far, what a headache!

Which one is the most accurate or makes the most sense?

ok this is the best method "for me " but takes some work. you want the bpv ,bov whatever t's to the big nipple on the throttle body. senses vacuum....correct? u still with me? anyways you will need to weld a bung with a nipple onto the hot side closest to the turbo. your wastegate can get the best reading the closer it is on the hot pipe to sense boost. i have done this and adjust my greddy rs and it got rid of the flutter and i dont worry about spiking.
