I have an s13 with an s13 SR blacktop. Right now i'm still running the smic but am looking to upgrading to a fmic very soon. I was looking at this kit from isis:
*ISIS M-Spec Front Mount Intercooler Kit - Nissan SR20DET S13 [ IS-S13IC ] - Enjuku Racing - Performance Parts and High Quality Fabrication (http://www.enjukuracing.com/isis-mspec-front-mount-intercooler-nissan-sr20det-p-8610.html)

"Lower Hotpipe does not have the large nipple for the stock recirculating valve", what "nipple" are they talking about? If i buy this kit even with the plain hotpipe does that mean i won't be able to use the stock recirculating valve?

iirc, It's the bigger nipple(?) that a hose would run from the bov, recirculating the air back. Some intercooler setups have this, some don't. Mine does not. I have the bov recirculating back into the intake pipe after the MAFS. I have an apexi air intake setup though. I believe the stock intake piping has the nipple that you can use. Most aftermarket intake kits will also. As far as the plain hotpipe goes, it's up to you if you want to run a BOV or not but I would get one pre-flanged for a BOV. That link shows two types, one for a greddy bov and the second an hks, you pick.

okay that makes sense. right now i'm recirculating back into my hks intake like you are, so i guess i don't need the nipple anyways. Thanks a bunch for the answer bro. :bigok:
