View Full Version : Cp pistons wrist pin help

So unlike the stock sr pistons that have snap rings to hold the wrist pins in the cp pistons I bought have a different type of ring to secure them. They're basically just pressured in there with no ends on them like a snap ring. If anyone has experience with these or know of a tool lmk. I can't get these damn things in.

pics? :) No instructions? On frsport they look to have regular c clips.
they DONT press in. They're like a coil type correct? My arias pistons have the same. Just 'guide' them in by spinning them

Free floating pins always use a circlip of somesort.
If your piston does not have provisions for a snap ring, then you very likely have semi-floating pins... which are an interference fit.

Put one side in, slide/push the wrist pin in, and then 'guide' the last clip in with a small screwdriver.

Be careful with them, they fly easily and you'll never find them if they fly.
