rb20det misfire and high idle

ok so heres the problem im having car is misfiring non stop when its cold or hot and even when its 1st started and sometimes at idle after cars been running for a little bit it will stall out. theres also a real bad lose of power between 2500 and 3000rpm. what ive done to try and fix it so far was new coil packs, changed out maf, checked timing its fine, got new wiring harness cause (other was a rats nest), and tried 3 different kinds of spark plugs and misfire is still there anyone kno what it might be?

By timing, do you mean by the belt or by the cas? I recently had a slight misfire at idle and when I would floor it. I retarded the cas a hair until I get a hold of a timing light, and so far it's running better.

You might want to check if your igniter is functioning properly and getting power.
