Hi guys, just helping a friend out. A buddy of mine has an S13 w/KA also has a mishimoto radiator. He is being offered a mishimoto fan shroud w/ fans from an SR. Can this be done (are they interchangeable)? Are the mounts the same? Help will be gretly appreciated.

P.S. Already did a quick search...didn't find anything. Thanks

I don't believe they are due to the different positioning of the radiator hoses. and the fan clutch itself.

Yeah...but if you look at the pics of the radiators on their website, the mounting points on the radiator for the shrounds look to be in the same position.

spiritracing - did you ever find out if they were interchangeable?

I have pretty much the same problem, I have an SR mishimoto rad. and someone has a KA mishimoto shroud for sale.

I have the KA setup and * I think * they are the same.

Has anyone contacted Mishimoto directly or a vendor like Enjuku Racing to ask?

they have there own individual #'s ending in KA or SR....

but anyways I should get my mishimoto radiator tomorrow and will take some pictures if it is slightly different.

SO they are exactly the same EXCEPT for one mounting tap being slightly taller.

I just had to extend the whole lower by about 1/4".

everything else fit just fine....

Thats funny, Love how companys do two part #'s even though they're pretty much the same exact thing.
