So i removed both chain guids upper and lower.
after that the motor sounded good for like 100miles than started sounding the same after that! help already checked oil and its good!:naw:

Sound like you should put your lower guide back on. Ive only heard of people taking the upper one off.

Shit, i didnt even know you could remove them. Not to jack the thread but what is the benefit of removing the guide/s

did you remove the 2 on top? those are both uppers... theres also a lower one..
did you clean, lube and check the tensioner was functioning correctly also?

no benefit unless it starts rattling.

yea i removed the top and the second one to the right by the dizzy
i checked the top tensioner which is excellent but i have not gotten to the bottom
question how much slack is normal on the chain cuz on the right side where the guide was i can move it a little.

Tensioners use engine oil pressure for adjustment. There may be some play.
