hello zilvia, how have you been.
so, i have this ca18det in my car, and last week while driving, she decided to sound like a WRX. From my experiences this means, one of the cylinder decided to get high and get lazy and do no work.
I've tracked it down to cylinder #3, because when I put my ear over it she says "F U" to me.
Now, I ensured the spark plug was firing, so the only other thing is... fuel injector.
To my CA18 brothers out there, what's my option right now? I see decently priced injectors for ca18 on ebay, that shoots out like from 575cc to 1000cc which means my car will run rich like a Steve Jobs or not at all like Stephen Hawkings... Would it be more efficient to go with some OE stuff or to go aftermarket? I'm not looking to produce 500hp, I just want her to run well. If I go OE, what is the parts number etc? If I go aftermarket, what should I do with SAFC stuff? I have 0 knowledge of fuel injection stuff, someone, school me please.
