Will GTiR Main Bolts fit on a SR20DET RWD (rear wheel drive)

I have been searching and seen a few posts about it but seems to be FWD (front wheel drive) SRs they are speaking of and I know not all parts are interchangable so... any help here would be awsome!
I know the GTiR main bolts are just as strong if not stronger than ARP studs - plus there will be no need to modify the GTiR main bolts - where you need to modify the upper oil pan or (2) ARP studs so they dont hit the oil pan. Also another benefit is you will not need to line hone the mains using GTiR main bolts where the ARP studs require it. I know most will be line honing anyways if your rebuilding but for the guys that are keeping the motor in the car and are upgrading while they are installing new bearings etc.

I know they interchange with other FWD engines, however I am unsure with the RWD. Thread pitch and that sort I know is the same, but obviously length is where I'm not sure on. Being that they use the same pan structure/setup as FWD I'd be willing to say that they 'would' fit...with it being about 95% sure.

With that said, I am not sure how much stronger they really are. I know the 'myth' percentage has come down quite a bit over the year (I know guys first did it they claimed 50% strength difference, which we all know is BS). I'd say they are probably marginally better/stronger probably 10-15% stronger than the DE ones. However, I'm not sure if the DE-T ones are equal to DE ones, or closer to GTiR ones.

At the same rate, I've not read much about the mains being an issue strengthwise on these engines even up to some decent HP. I know the added beneifts of the GTiR bearings and their oil capacity, but if you're just throwing together a 'stock' setup I'd say save the money and keep the DE-T stuff.

Yes the GTIR main bolts will work on the RWD SR, I have them in Mine.

From what I was told from the company I got them from is that they are 10% stronger

what did your shop torque them to?

FSM: 19 to 21nm then 46 to 52nm (or 60/65 degrees more if you have an angle wrench)

I assembled it not a shop, but man i cant even remember

I built that engine almost 5 years ago

The GTIR Specs are higher
