My S14 SR20DET has a plug that we re-pinned due to recieving the motor with a cracked harness, super glued, and all that shit. So we ended up transfering it to a ka24de S13 plug which fits the S14 SR20DET ECU computer. The company didn't want to send me a replacement harness. So we ended up pinning it into another plug.
Question is:
If and when you flip your computer around while the car is running, is it supposed to change idle and make sounds? when you pull on some of the wires it makes sound too. for example, pulling on the VTC wire will make the VTC sound when car is running. If it's not supposed to do that please let me know asap. Im thinking it's a bad connection? I was probably gonna buy a wire harness from wiring specialist or something.
Im thinking this is the problem that im having with my car dropping down to 1,500rpm and can't rev past it while driving or parked. Also while driving it runs good to some point till it has the issue when it completely drops rpm to 1,500rpm than dies and smokes black rich smell from the tale pipe causing me to have to change spark plugs to get home.
