Well i recently decided to go a different direction with my build, going to go with a bit milder set up and use a rom tune rather then a PFC/AEM standalone! I just don't have the time to drive 6 hrs which is our closest good tuner!

So anyways my question is i was going to be using a MAP rather then MAF so i was gonna run a atmospheric BOV but now im staying with the MAF so would it be better to leave the recirculating BOV on there or use the atmospheric one?

the recirculating BOV is a DSM mitsu one and the atmospheric is a greddy type RZ which you can use as recirculating so which one would be the better one to use??????

Motor is a s13 redtop with greddy 18g and step 2 264 HKS cams 720cc inject.
Thank you in advanced

Recirculate it. It's the only way to keep a MAF happy.

Thats what i figured but which one would you recommend the Greddy Type RZ or the DSM one?

Either will work just fine. I'd say use the RZ, and get the recirculation fitting: Greddy 11900517 Type RZ Blow Off Valve Recirculation Fittng 32mm (http://www.frsport.com/Greddy-11900517-Type-RZ-Blow-Off-Valve-Recirculation-Fittng-32mm_p_17414.html) to make it all work. Greddy uses a common flange.

No need to bump a thread so quickly, it's not that drastic...you can always search google too FYI...plenty of information out there.

You'll be fine with being open atmosphere, I ran an Tuned ECU with Tial BOV for 5 years with no adverse effects. The people that have issues usually have more problems they just haven't figured out yet.

Glad to see another Montana 240, I've really been missing mine lately. Good luck and if you have any questions let me know. Always happy to help out a fellow Montanan!
