Possibly be cheaper to just buy an aftermarket low mount manifold..

We're talking about intake manifold here ;)

There are gains to be had by doing this, but if you arent sure what youre doing, youll probably do more harm than good (as far as actually porting it). If anything, Id deburr the inside of the manifold, and leave anything else to someone who knows wtf theyre doing. Remember each runner needs to match, and an absolutely smooth surface does not guarantee better flow.

i did my greddy manifold to match the 70mm throttle body and it was not easy. alot harder than i thought it would be but i got it done. i dont know how much room there is to port a stock intake manifold though. i would just get a ISIS intake manifold which is a greddy replica or save up and just get a greddy manifold. you can find some pretty good deals on zilvia for intake manifolds.

I would leave that up to the pros.

you can clean the burs on the inside but when you start messing with the ports themselves you could mess something up if your not sure what you are doing.
