Ok i have a 90 s13 with a sr blacktop i tried to install the z32 maf and a safc2 and did the maf wrong when i turn the ignition to on to do the setup on the safc2 the thing wouldnt even turn on and i tried to start the car and it cranks but no fuel or spark i took everything off the maf and the safc2 and still didnt turn on what could it be? Oh i do get fuel pressure and i already checked the ignitor and its good so i guess the ecu its not geting power what could it be the egi relay or that i fried my ecu plzzz someone help me i dont know what else to do thanks

so you wired the MAFS wrong?

If so you probably fried the ECU.

Unplug the ECU and look for Burn pins.
If you dont see any open it up and look for bunt tracks

Yes i wired it wrong now my friend showed me how to do it but the first time i did it wrong. So i open up the ecu to see if there is something burn up ok. Couldnt it be the egi? What ither way can i check the ecu. One thing that i did was i unplued it from the harness and cranked the engine and the wasnt any diference it did the same thing like if i still had it plueged. Thanks SIL80 I really apriciated hope to here back from you

You say you installed the MAFS wrong? What did you do wrong? You need to list the wires you crossed. You either grounded your 12v source voltage or your 5v output from the MAFS. I'm guessing you grounded the 12v and cooked your ecu. You need to get a multimeter and measure pin 36 (I think thats the pin, I can remember for sure) with the harness plugged into the euc and the car on.

Just cause it doesnt look burnt, doesnt mean you didnt damage it internally.

Bro you fried your ecu. I did it a little while ago. Just get a other ecu and save the headache. Sil just fixed my SR, ecu fried from wiring the z32 wrong.
