so my car got hit =C

so i was coming out of my local tuning shop and the guy had just finshed in stalling my gauges he parked my car close to another car. so i back up and this guy put his tail gate down and me and my car went in to it. its sad i just painted my car to =( the part of the qarter panel damaged was olny the tip as you can see so my question is can i cut the section that i need from another quarter panel and weld it in. my friend is a really machinest and he knows how to tig weld very well. http://i659.photobucket.com/albums/uu317/nujabe101/2011-03-01_19-09-12_769.jpg

yes you can weld it back together just will take some time and skill. my buddy did it on his s13 when he smacked a wall.

thanks jimmy ! your photo made me feel better that it just doesnt happen to olny me . i wound up bringing it to a body shop and paying for them to fix it. i was going to bang it out and weld but its just as expensive and i might not get the results i want.
