so i was coming out of my local tuning shop and the guy had just finshed in stalling my gauges he parked my car close to another car. so i back up and this guy put his tail gate down and me and my car went in to it. its sad i just painted my car to =( the part of the qarter panel damaged was olny the tip as you can see so my question is can i cut the section that i need from another quarter panel and weld it in. my friend is a really machinest and he knows how to tig weld very well.

any help would be great im really bumed out so please be easy on me guys.

yes you can weld it back together just will take some time and skill. my buddy did it on his s13 when he smacked a wall.

thanks jimmy ! your photo made me feel better that it just doesnt happen to olny me . i wound up bringing it to a body shop and paying for them to fix it. i was going to bang it out and weld but its just as expensive and i might not get the results i want.

This happened to my brothers car last year.

We did a little work.

And a little more...

And a bit more...

Now it is ready for the paint guy to take over...

It so sucks when it happens. Hope it turns out well in the end.
