Recirculated, now weak?

Well I have a s13 blacktop, running a front mount and hks ssqv bov. I just recently recirculated cause i was tired of idle surge and running rich and all those great things. But now it feels as if the car isnt performaing as well when being stepped on. For example it seems like it takes longer to gain acceleration when in higher gears like 3,4,5 rather than before. Kinda feels like it cuts out, then picks up shortly after. The one time in first gear after 3500 rpms it felt like nothing. Im curious if this would have to do with the recirculation, the clutch, or maybe the fuel pump?

Did you recirculate after the maf?(so it doesnt read the air again)

Yes sir, using stock intake pipe at the moment.

Put it in fifth gear from dead stop and try to drive it. If it stalls, clutch is still good. If it rev's and tries to drive, clutch is on its last leg.

I once thought i had a really bad boostleak..turned out the stage 2 clutch the car had was on its last leg.

Sounds like an idea, never heard of that before. Just start out in fifth and see what happens? Im def trying it tomorrow.

Well i guess scratch clutch, since it did go to stall out with that whole 5th gear thing.
