View Full Version : What manifold are you using for your Holset?

I just got an H1C and this is my first Holset turbo or even top mount for that matter. I'm looking into manifolds and I'm not sure which one to choose.

I don't mind relocating my PS reservoir, but I don't want to screw with BMC clearance or anything.

I also don't mind if it's a eBay manifold, Godspeed, whatever.

Here's the turbo I'm running...

I was thinking of either a log style manifold (might have BMC clearance issues) or a tubular mani that moves it further forward... I'm not down to make my own manifold, so the JGS DIY kit is out of the question.

I was thinking something along the lines of this...(yea yea...CXRacing, I know, but i'd like some opinions, from those who are actually USING it)

not familiar with CX-R, but for the love of god stay away from XS power and SSAC

not sure of the name of mine but it looks like its far from the BMC. not in my car yet.
BTW this manifold is fucking thick. id say about 3.5mm thick tubing

Those things are garbage.

Haha bro I've read your "DIY RB25" thread or whatever, and that manifold was GARBAGE! Like completely off in every which way possible. I always find it funny how whenever I'm sifting through threads on here, I see you in build threads telling people to stay away from SSAC and XS Power. I'll definitely take your advice haha.

I have a top mount cx with a precision 60 trim, I like it.

Ran a top mount cxr with a to4e no problems.
