i must agree. i enjy this site, but it always has the popup saying it can't find that site. please fix it. i leave zilvia open 24/7 and i get that popup atleast every 20 minutes.

out of curiosity, what sort of connection are you fellas using to access teh interwebnet?

I'm on broadband.

It happens whenever the site refreshes or a new page is opened and the advert is on a 404 site. If I was nissantrader.com I would be kicking up a storm to the company providing there webserver or DNS server either way it's annoying as hell when it happens consistently.

I emailed Mark about it yesterday and I believe he is looking into it :D

Interesting, I guess something happened with DNS, looks fine from here and when I dail up @ home. I will look into the DNS stuff, it should be ran off zilvia.net anyways. Donno how it got nissantrader.com domain.

I did however get rid of the refresh for the banner and make the code more basic. Hope that fixs some of the problems.

What exactly is the banner or nissantrader doing? Thanks!

For a good while the advertising banner in the top right would not display. The browser would simply wait and wait for the image to display and after a default amount of time for not finding the image the browser would error out.

The error would be something similar to "ERROR could not connect to nissantrader.com" If you host the images locally then that error shouldn't be possible.

OK. Yesterday I installed a new Banner/Ad Server Software that is PHP based and runs ALLLLOOT faster/cleaner. Adcycle was going to need to be rebuilt anyways since when we built the cgi it somehow took the nissantrader.com domain of ours. All is fixed and running smoothly now. Should be faster, more accurate, and waaaay cooler for the advertisers.
