I've installed injectors on my old Redtop SR a few years ago, but my new S14 SR has that different intake manifold and it looks like quite a chore.
Anyone have a writeup to this? or something that would be of assistance before I tear into mine next week?

best way to do it is to take the top half of the intake manifold off... then you should know the rest if you done it on your s13 sr20.

^^^ Pretty much follow that write up.
I can only add the steps for a S14 off the top of my head.
1. Remove intercooler cold pipe
2. Remove electrical plugs to the Idle Regulator and Throttle
Drain anti-freeze (or not, which makes it harder)
3. Disconnect all rubber hoses leading to and from the manifold.
4. Remove 2 nuts and 3 bolts mating the top and bottom half of the manifold.
5. Pull the body up from the back and set it aside. If you didn't drain the anti-freeze you'll notice there are 2 rubber lines connecting to the underside of the throttle body. I prefer to leave them because you can maneuver the manifold enough to not be in your way at all when replacing the injectors.

Well I got mine done yesterday. Never even completely pulled the upper manifold or intercooler pipe lol. Just took off the coupler and took the bolts off the manifold so I could pull it out of the way enough to get to everything. Disconnected a few lines to move it properly.
Took me about 1.5hours to get it completely finished, from pulling in the garage to driving out.
I also realized that and SAFC2 is just BARELY gonna be enough adjustment for my 740cc injectors haha
