hows it goin. I need to change my oil Pan gasket on my sr20. I'd like to buy one but, I've done some research and I'm lead to believe that there isn't a oil pan gasket for sale for the sr20. So what kind of sealant should I use for this. Thanks in advance

you can just go to your local parts shop and look for a high temp liquid gasket, permatex has one. just make sure you apply it right and let it set. you dont wanna go blowing your engine cause your pan wasnt sealed right.

Go to Kragen or Autozone and ask them for the part. At Autozne the part # is:
#OS30646C
It should bolt right up. Make sure you buy PERMATEX RED HIGH TEMP sealant.

That permatex stuff isn't as good as others out there especially for an oil pan. Search around I remember someone saying there was some OEM style sealant that works much better.

Ive used black permatex on all the SR and KA Oil pans Ive worked on and Never had one leak.
Usually the problem is ppl using High Temp RTV on the pans.
Yes the engine gets hot but not hot enough to need High Temp, Black RTV will be fine.

Yeah that's what I had to do. And jack up the engine from the tranny bell housing. My nismo power brace got in the way of removing the pan.
To op you should also unbolt the sway bar where it mounts to the frame. 2 14mm bolts each side.

If you clean the block and the pan it's the best stuff out there I don't use anythin but oem it's not cheap but you get what you pay for it's 15 for thu tube and it will cover your pan water pump and thermostat housing
