SR Valvetrain Noise

So, I got my valve cover painted a few days ago. Cool, right? Nah. There's now a noise coming from the head that sounds like crickets chirping. I can hear it best when I'm in the cabin with all the windows sealed up, or if I put my ear right near the intake manifold/head. According to my painter, he sealed everything in plastic while the head was off- but shit happens. Any ideas what exactly might be causing the noise?

sounds like something might be loose or rubbing. check all your bolts, you could also pull the valve cover off and see if you still hear it.
