Starting problem?!?!?!?!

So I did my motor swap (ka24de) and the 4th cylinder would never fire I ended up taking intake mani off and everything then my friend says he wants to try one more thing and we put a new distributor in and everything back on. Ever since then my car wil turn over and then it makes a Thunk sound and keeps turning over!

Does anyone know what the cause of this may be? And no it wont start.

Where is the thunk noise coming from? Is it backfiring through the intake...that kind of thunk?

Did you Check your timing and make sure you hooked up the fuel lines correctly (the ones coming from the fuel filter to intake manifold )

Your timing is off. Also for the 4th cylinder not firing I'm gonna say you have a bad o-ring on that injector. Take out the spark plug and see what it looks like. Its probably fouled.

As for the clunking sound, idk. Maybe a little more detail would help. Actually,try this. Turn the motor over by hand a few times and see if it ever stops turning. So we can hopefully rule out hitting valves. You never know.
