Garrett gt2540-46t

I have a redtop SR and recently it blew the turbo gasket. I got all new gaskets to put in the car for the turbo setup. I have had a few people look at the turbo when it was on the car and they told me it was the stock turbo. Come to find out it is not the stock turbo. Does anyone know what a garrett gt2540-46t a/r 50 is for. I have searched on google for some info but nothing really is coming up. Any info on this turbo would be appreciated.
