Is sr20de fwd and rwd block the same?

I just want to know is the block the same. I know the head is not. I see alot of sr20 in the junk yard.

No mounting points are different as well as oil block and water necks. also im positive you can't use rwd tranny on a fwd sr w/out fabrication.

No ,the block is not the same,but the guts can be used,mainly the crank from early modle G20,it has half the amount of counterweights as the DET. Also with fab(lots) work you can use the head wich has roller rockers.
