so i got an oil leak that defies gravity. haha

i got 96 ka24de just changed valve cover gasket and checked for leaks everywhere else. did not spot any, but the engine is pretty dirty.....
then i go to work on a few things couple days later and open the hood only to see oil stain in a horizontal line. looked around and noticed oil on the crankshaft pulley and the fan? so the fan would kick the oil and splatter it on the hood.

i know, i checked the head gasket and all the other seals around there. having problem actually locating the damn thing. anyone has any suggestions on what could it be? or maybe someone had a similar case....

you could have a pinhole sized leak coming from your ps line that only squirts out when the wheel is being turned.

that might be it^^^...do you have your oil cap on lol (just saying)

lol, yea the oil cap is secured.

however, ive done some research and ive noticed that the ps lines comment comes up often. but it doesnt seem much like a ps line cause the front of the block has the oil on it, not the left side of the block, where the ps system is all set up.....

i got to double check on the ps lines just to be double sure tho. haha

Sounds like the front main seal needs replacing.
