View Full Version : red top Sr wont start after swapping shells
Ok so I crash my S13 the other day totals it in the rear (engine still runs and revs fine). So I take it out harness and all from ecu to fuse block swap it into another shell and now it will not start. I have fuel but no spark. I bought the first car swapped already and dont know much about these so please help.
Ok so today I check over everything added some grounds for good measure one to the trans and one to the valve cover. The coil pack ground is on checked the fuses everything looks good. Noticed that my tail lights stay on the whole time the battery is hooked up took out the multimeter and the engine is grounded fine the earth port on the coil is grounded good but no pos in the posi port. Battery is in the trunk and is running low on charge showing around 10.75v.
Charged the battery 12v. I was told to check power in the cas injectors ecu everywere so I did. No power to nothing car turns over but thats it no power. ECU is good nothing burnt or broken so what could it be please help.
Ok started looking around and found that the eng cont fuse only has one wire going into it the other seems to be missing but I dont see any loose wires anywere. Anybody know the color of the wire that im missing or a place it runs so I can wire it in.
thought I would let you all know I got it running awile back the wiring on clutch sensor was messed up lol I felt like an ass for not figuring it out eirler but thats how it goes right

yup. check all your sensors down there, nissan has these shitty rubber plugs that fall apart over the years, if the plug falls out it can mess with all kinds of stuff, cruise, brake lights stay on, etc
