so my sr20 swap is in my s13 and running great

but the clutch feels super weak.

the shop i bought the swap from told me they installed an aftermarket clutch of some sort on the engine. it looked pretty fresh, maybe even new when i installed the transmission,

but my clutch feels super weak. it takes little to no effort to press the clutch pedal in.

i have replaced the slave and master cylinders now, as well as bypassed the clutch damper. still nothing. swear there is NO air in the system as well.

i can tell my transmission is not doing what it should be when i shift. and there are some noises.

i thought these three things would be all i would need to check.

what am i missing, or where is my next step to troubleshoot this annoying problem (only thing left until its road ready)

could i have installed the transmission wrong? i had never mated a transmission to an engine until now, but i did search online, seems like you just slide it in and bolt it up.

maybe the reason why it feels so soft is because you changed you clutch master and slave cylinders, maybe you got a cheap one from autozone those are weak thats what i have in my car now, but i have other cylinders i think from an s15 or i think s14 byt those hold alot more predssure an pedal feel is stiffer

You are right, the master and slave came from advance, but i dont think thats my problem. My roomate stepped on the pedal while i watched the slave cylinder, no hesitation at all, it pushed out with no problem.

I found out from the shop i got it from that my clutch is aftermarket and it is brand new
