:sadwavey::sadwavey:ok so about 3 months ago i got the car...bad rings...so i did the bottom end...(pistons, rods block resurface and cosworth mhg and arp head bolts) and installed a gt2871r, mani, 550cc's, fmic, the usual bolt ons and its been pretty perfect until i just noticed...i could see some coolant in between the head and block...and the only loss of coolant is under the intake manifold on one of the hoses...(i didnt get it tight enough)...no coolant in my oil or smoke out my exhaust....

motor is s13 sr20det redtop

never been boosted over 10psi and only about 1500miles on the rebuild

never overheated either

i also torqued my head down to spec for arps spec....and alls been well until now as i said....

so my question is.....is a retorque needed of the head or is there a bigger problem?

and also if i should just re torque the head....can i do that by just removing the vc, cams, chain tensioner and cas and then retorquing...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Well, a re-torque is usually needed after running the vehicle off of a fresh build.
