I am wondering if anyone has a guide, or a harness forsale, to put the 1995 ka24de into an s13 1989 chassis?
all you need is the s14 ka24 long block, s13 ka24de intake manifold and exhaust manifold. swap it onto the long block. run s13 dohc engine harness. cut the power plugs (brown and gray plug next to the battery) and dash plug (white plug next to ecu) from a s13 sohc engine harness. Solder those plugs to the s13 ka24de harness. all color will match. everything else in the engine is bolt/clip on.

which ecu do you use? s13 or s14?
s13 dohc ecu. You're making it all OEM s13 using parts from s14 ka.

First, sorry for bringing back an old thread, but I am contimplating this swap.
The donor vehicle has a 95 ka24de with a 5 speed trans, ecu, and harness. Is the harness solder/mod necessary? Just curious, I want this baby to run squeaky clean.
If there are other things I should need, let me know, I appreciate it.
Thank you for your help.
