Alright guys Ive searched Zilvia and the net and can't find anything about why this damn thing wont turn over! I replaced the timing chain guides on my KA24E and now it wont turn over. It tried to start but wouldnt.....Set it at TDC and pretty sure I kept the the oil pump and distributor shafts in place too. ???????? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is the timing just not set right?

Oh man, sorry to hear. It could anything though. Battery cables, grounds, starter connectors. If it is the timing. there should me markings on the camshaft and crank sprockets. make sure those are lined up. then with your crank pulley on, line up the mark on the cover to 15 deg btdc, take off the dizzy cap, and make sure the 1 cylinder is in the firing position.

Yea dude Im so pissed. Im just trying to keep this KA-E running while I finish building my KA-T and little things keep setting me back! AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!! I think when I took out the oil pump it spinned and thats what messed up the timing, but the motor was set to TDC and the rotor cap was pointing at the left front wheel like I was told it should so Im kinda lost bro?!?!?! Gonna take the oil pump off and try to re-align everything I guess!
