If ive done my research right, only the Ball Bearing T28 uses a restricter, Right?
The other "channel" T28 does not use a restrictor. Im purchasing a DIF stainless steel braided line kit that comes with an optional restrictor. But im not sure if i need it with my particular T28.
How can you tell the difference between the two types of turbos?? Thanks for the help.

journar bearing uses .060" restrictor, ball bearings calls for a .030"-.035" one

S14 T28s are journal bearing and some S15 t28s are also. For the most part the Spec R S15 t28 is the only one that's ball bearing. Check your part numbers from the plaque on the turbo itself to make sure its a journal bearing turbo. You need the correct restrictor for journal bearing as well as ball bearing when using aftermarket lines.
