View Full Version : Quick question about ka24de UD Pulley...

Just found out my oem underdrive pulley cracked on my and need to replace it. Im thinking about th ASP UD PULLEY frow EnjukuRacing.

Will I need to order new belts with the pulley or can I use the same belts Im running aready? If I need to change the belt what size am I looking for? Any info would help alot. thanks in advance.

Yea i tried those sites but they are not specific.

I just orderd it yesterday so ill see if i need new belts when it gets here. lol

The pulley is smaller in diameter. How would you think it wouldn't need shorter belts?

It does. Plenty of sites with belt sizes if you look for them.

The manufacturer you buy the pulley from will specify what belts on their website.

Just to make sure you understand, seeing as you said your stock UD pulley is cracked... You are talking about your crank pulley and UD stands for underdrive, stock is not an underdrive. So if you go with a UD pulley you will be reducing rpm at your accessory pulleys by ~15%(asp is 15).

I do run an ASP though and haven't had any major problems, only thing was my head unit wigged out until I got a 125amp Quest alternator(coulda been my old one going out causing the problem though)
