SR and KA steering shaft

Does anyone know if the KA steering shaft will work on an SR? My steering shaft is seized up and i can't get it to compress. There are a few salvage yards in my area that have 240's that i could check for steering shafts if the KA shaft will work.

Shaft? The steering column you mean? Why would it matter what engine you have? It's part of the chassis. All RHD columns are the same, as are LHD. Same with the steering rack. Only difference is S13 vs S14.

I didnt know if there would be any kind of clearance issue. I know the SR is smaller, but i just wanted to make sure.
