So I'm looking at buying a 240, but this particular 240 has a slipping timing chain. How hard is this to fix, and does this mean the motors done? I know cars, I've done allot with it, but this is my first time expirencing this type of problem, And yes... I tried quick search first. Thanks!

Timing chains don't 'slip'. Either it's tight and runs fine, or the tensioners are worn and loose, allowing for the chain to jump a tooth or more under high revs. Worn tensioners could be just that, or it could be from low oil pressure which would mean more problems within the engine, scored bearings, cam caps, etc. I'd check the oil pressure with an accurate gauge to verify it before you commit.

lol he tried a "quick" search. A quick search wouldve given me everything about the KA timing chain rattle. It's the most common thing out there.
