Alright, the problem is that my tail lights stay on all the time.the rubber stopper fell apart that contacts the sensor. So my question is how do you drop the steering column so I'll have clearance to cover the hole up.Tried messing with it for a couple hours and got no where please help!

from my experience. you dont need to drop anything.. just get on your back and reach..

why are you breaking lights?

just kiddinggg....

to fix your "brake" light problem.

take a penny and some glue or tape.

put it right over that hole.

DONE.

thats what i did, magic.

you could just put a bolt and nut in the hole, if you dont feel like taking it all out

Wow you are too down for no reason...

You are really going to take it out and weld it?

Penny trick might be a rig, but it works JUST fine and no one is going to see it lolol

Thats what my friend did for mines when it went out, no need for taking shit apart.

pennies attached to your car, for any reason, is retarded.
however, a simple nut and bolt, or a new oem plug would be just fine

lol thats exactly what I did... i couldnt get my fat hand in there to do it semi right but pennie with some tape and did the job.... ive had it like that for like almost 2 years with no issues. I think I used a stick or something to get it up there. Very simple fix bro

if your hand is too fat to reach the brake switch plunger area, you need to give up the burgers -.-

I'm 6'3" and 195 and my freakin' arm fits up there...my feet are just all up in the back seat.

replacement rubber foot is cheap as dirt, btw. Just buy another one from discount auto or w/e.
